This suggested run will start from Abergavenny Bus Station Car Park at 10.30am we will then head towards Pandy on the Hereford road A465 and turn off onto mountain road taking us up through Llanthony and Llanthony Abbey(Olchan Valley)where you can pop in and view, going on from here we will be passing through Capel-y-Ffin and coming up through some stunning views and this area is called Hay Bluff, don't forget your cameras as there is some nice pull in and view places up here, going down from here we will be coming into Hay-on-Wye Town where there is a book or two for sale, heaven for the bookworms in our group, then from here we will be heading down the B4348 into the beautiful "Golden Valley"and halfway down Valley is "Dorestone" Village and it's pub, the oldest in the County called "The Pandy Inn" where we can have something to eat and drink see here www.pandyinn.co.uk/ There is an Abbey here also and some other interesting sites, leaving here we will be continuing down the Golden Valley and through Ewyas - Harold Village where years ago a famous Welsh Snooker player Doug Mountjoy once owned the local inn called the Temple Bar, shortly you will come to the main Hereford road at Pontrilas A465 where you turn right and head back towards Abergavenny, we can all pull in here at main road jcn before heading back to Abergavenny 20 minutes away and our way home, this run only about 5 hours so you will be home early, please put your name down below or even better on our forum on SWMGF site to say if your coming, to Register to that forum is exactly the same as this one, thanks, Dave
