Greetings from the UK.
I am after your help - i'm trying to track down the owner of a Trophy Yellow MGF that has a scissor/lambo door conversion fitted. I have been trying a similar conversion for the last couple of weeks using an imported US kit, without success. The kit i have is just physically of the wrong dimensions to work in the tight space of the F's inner wing, being both too wide, and too deep, and even though we have cut and re-welded numerous times, it just isn't viable. I think the guy in question is Belgian and i gather the car is pretty well known across Europe, but other than that i have little information beyond a couple of pictures of the car.
I would like to put a couple of questions to him if possible, about the kit he used for the conversion, and what modifications he made to fit it.
I would be happy to go through a 3rd person to do this if necessary, so if anyone can assist with this i'd be eternally grateful.
Best regards,
Louie

Hi, I think I know which MGF? you mean. I know this car since some years and followed it's history until the second owner (Mike E./Germany) sold it to the latest know owner in I think Holland. www.mgfcar.de/friends/mike.enders/index.htmsee far below link. The last he did was a big boom-boom installation Check it out. Anyway, may be User Erikb knows more. I never got contact to the owner. (Lack of english skills may be)

Thank you for the replies guys.
I managed to track down the owner in the end. A very nice dude, and very helpful. He gave me the link to his website, where i found many extremely helpful pictures of the door hinges, and some of the cutting needed to get them to fit. Hoping to get my doors working in the next few weeks. I'll be sure and post some pics of the finished car - its still very much work in progress, but i'm pleased with how its going so far.
Thanks again.
