I wonder if we can drive to Dover and then claim political asylum (for Belgium) - at least for 2 days until we come back? Would be cheaper!!!!!!

I must get my passport re-newed. I keep saying that then end up with customs for at least 10 mins on the way back from anywhere because of the condition of my passport.

James, please send me your full name and car details, I don't need the vin.
I have requested your room, there is a possibility we have taken all of the cozy's, so you may need a style, slightly dearer, I will let you know as soon as I get confirmation from the Hotel.

Good point!
In the terms and conditions for the ferry booking it states that a valid passport is required. Just in case anyone missed this...

Kris, you said something about changing the interior of your car to something like yellow (welcome to the yellow side) saw this at Kempenrit last year.

Thanks for that Adrian! But thats a bit too over the top for even me! ;D I am going along a similar route though. I have the metal top of dash demister vents which I have been meaning to spray yellow for ages now to go on. Then I'm buying the yellow leather gearshift and handbrake gaiters from Mike S and I think that should just about do the interior. I really don't like the yellow inside screen surround on this one! I'm toying with the idea of changing mine to the TF spec black one actually to match the rest of the trim rather than the current cream colour?

Just make sure your handbrake works, it is definitely not the time to discover your car rolls with the handbrake on and in gear when they drop the ramp. Also, if you are in to rear wings how about this gem ?

;D I had one of those Bi-Level Ali Wings when I bought my MG as I was expecting to be buying something along the lines of a Supra or RX7 before I fell in love with the Trophy!
I did have a bit of a play and held it up to the back of mine but promptly decided it looked really out of place. So it promptly went on e-bay! ;D
