Another update :
Those great guys from the Belgian MGF.Be are producing a road book to ensure we all get from Dunkerque (and Calais) to the Hotel in Mechelen as the group is going to be quite large, I know there are a few still considering this event so hurry up, you can't afford to miss this.
There will also be a delegation of Belgian F's meeting us off the ferry.
I will also give you some details of formal registration for this event soon.
Some convoy this is going to be.

Great news Mark, well done, that also means they have got their gremlin out of the system so it is possible we may get some more places on the ferry if anybody is interested, thats 21 cars now with the addition of Steve & Pam.
Please send me an E Mail with your car details and booking ref. no. I will reserve a single for you now.

Hi Adrian - lovely to meet you at the Cobweb run yesterday!
Well.....after twisting David's arm....and getting quite worked up as to whether my first ever trip abroad should be adriving one....gulp....I'd like to join you guys for Kempenrit!
We'd love a double room please!!!
I think I'd prefer to travel by train - I have a morbid fear of water! Could you let me know when others are booking to travel so I can book a similar time - never EVER done anything like this in m life so please email or pm me details of what I need to sort out and when!!!!
Very much looking forward to it!!!! Even though I am already terrified!
A huge EDIT!!!
Having read through a few posts maybe it would be better for me to join a bigger group travelling by ferry.............so if the majority are travelling this way, any chance of someone helping a Kempenrit virgin out with details please???! I am already confused!

Andie, I have replied to your pm's.
The ferry out is the 10.00 Norfolk Line from Dover to Dunkerque and return is up to you as you will be staying an extra night, the on-line booking link I have provided previously is easy to use and lists all ferry sailings, please give me your booking reference when done.
James, just let me know what you need as soon as possible, the hotel is filling up.

Just a quickie - is anyone else staying 2 nights? I might stay an extra night and make the most of the fact of actually venturing abroad this year!!!!!

Jay, the list on the previous page is always updated, current status is correct.
Be aware the ferry may be more expensive, we have a weekend rate, the train certainly is. I believe our deal is a three day return so I think it should be the same price, you will see all when you book.

Just in case people don't know the history of Mechelen (where we stay overnight) it is a mediaeval town situated in the heart of brewing country, if you can't find a beer here (they have over 1,000 in Belgium) you really should go to Specsavers ;D Kris (yellow leader) now it's up to you to make your mind up, your crew are coming so where is your booking then ?
