The Winter Warmer run is traditionally organised by one of the South East Fers and can take place anywhere in the SOuth East - Surrey, Sussex, Kent - we'll be looking for a scenic run of around 50miles ending with lunch at a country pub or something along those lines - themes are good as well ! You'll need to plan the route, do the route book and sort out the finish point for lunch - Easy !
So any volunteers please step forward now ...........

I am tempted, but Sundays are really difficult for me - in addition the roads I know are all around the bottom end of the M25 and with the Bunny Blast and RedEye having been in this area will that not be a bit too much?

Essex ? Where's that ?
Graham - Go on you know you want to - nice roads around Crawley perhaps venturing further south from there as we don't get down to Sussex too much ?

Oooh, someone must know some great Sussex roads....that would be a great run and one I'd be tempted to join in if it was organised (if that's okay, Tim!) - I adore Sussex!

Well it looks like I have been well and truly pressganged - reminder to self never post any intentions as you'll end up doing it! Got some maps from me Mum's this weekend, they were printed in 1963! So a bit out of date, but they show all the little roads etc so should find something good there. Got a couple of ideas for lunch just need to find a suitable start point and then try and work out an interesting route

It has just occured to me that 11th November is Rememberence Day! I will try to ensure the route does not go any where near any War Memorials as if there are any parades or services roads may be temporarily closed!

I can just picture it............11am, a long line of MG's at the side of the road, drivers standing beside them, heads bowed.

Funnily enough the winter warmer is often on Remembrance Sunday - It is a good idea to avoid town centers or memorial areas Graham.
Thanks for taking this one on - keep me in touch with how you are progressing.
