Slightly damp but still loads of cars and commercials turned out - luckily it wasn't really muddy but I do have a footwell full of grass cuttings. The Gazebo turned into a "mister" when the rain hit the roof and diffused through it . Umbrellas under the Gazebo - Just spoke to the Essex boys and they had a new Gazebo of thick canvas and were dry as a bone at Battlebridge - I think we might have to invest ! Pleased to welcome Mike who had a bit of a dunking for his first escapade with the eFFers.
Thanks to everyone else who braved the elements - that's two wet events this year so far - will it be the last ?

Used the F for the first time since Sunday and the inside was covered in grass....
No ill effects following the lightning strike :-) And my cold is nearly gone !!

Thankfully Neil must have had enough rubber in his gum boots to prevent it from being any worse - now we know that the advice not to put up umbrellas in a thunder storm is NOT just an old wives tale !
It was a bit worry standing underneath a metal framed gazebo after that - maddest moment could be ensured.....unless there's a challenger !
