Having looked at the forecast for Sunday (extremely wet!) I'm going to stay home as the last thing I want is to get stuck in a field in Basingstoke. If anyone is still brave enough to go I can scan in my pass and email it to you if you need it (I somehow doubt they'll notice )

James - I shall have to make representations to the HCHDC to have your membership revoked !!!
Many's the time I've sat in a muddy field under an umbrella or huddling in a gazebo cradling a stemaing cup of hot tea to keep warm.
Seriously though there is a danger the show could be cancelled although it's not been too bad today here there are still a few puddles around. I'll try and check with the organsiers this evening to see if they have made a decision ....or not!

As at now (4:40pm) it's still on.
I am now not in a position to commit all day so if anyone wants my pass pm me now and we'll arrange something.
I will still pop along at some point and say hi.

Have faith! All weather forecasters have the unerring ability to lie with ease. And it certainly won't be muddy if GG is going. Who has ever seen a spot of dirt on that lovely car?

I've just spoken to the organisers who have just got back from inspecting the field which is dry and solid underfoot so.......
THE SHOW IS ON !!!!!!
See those of you who don't worry about weather forecasts tomorrow !
The field is close mown and flat so it's unlikley anyone will get stuck in any mud even if it does rain.
I shall be at Fleet services at 9am as planned if there is anyone left coming that way !
