Nothing really organised on this due to short notice - just an idea - we'll go along in the morning - show starts at 10am - see if you can head for the MG parking with the Abingdon Works Centre all the better. Cost is £8 on the gate.
I think Neil's going as well and Bob will be hovering - see you there if you can make it.

Will it be case of meeting there, or will there be a meet point on route?

AS it's all a bit late in the day and there's not many saying they're going so we'll meet up there. There is an MG entrance that you need to aim for and pay £8 each on the gate - you'll then get in the Abingdon Works Centre section - they have over 90 MGs already pre booked and are expecting more to just turn up on the day.
Gates open at 10am.
See you there

We're lifting from Odiham near J5 on the M3 at 10:00, aiming to arrive at Abingdon twenty minutes later. If you're heading North on the A34, keep an eye up

Excellent display Bob - didn't realise a chinook was quite so agile !
Good day out despite the wind whipping across the airfield. 150 MGs in the Abingdon Works Centre paddock including some twenty or so F/TFs.
Several other car clubs here including a very rare Jaguar that looks like a Lamborghini - loads of side stalls so I managed to pick a 1/36 scale 6R4 and a 1977 Gryphon reissue CD all at the same place
I think it's the first time we've had an SEF air display though. Well worth catching the show if you're anywhere near one of the shows on the linked website.
