This is a question that often comes my way and I don't really know the answer all the time
Who do I get to service my MGF in the South East ?
Now I know of Trident in Ottershaw who are now an X Part Service Centre
British Legends in Southend
Ralph in Rainham - hopefully soon anyway !
Heathrow Services in Hounslow are now offering MGF Servicing as well
....But where else should I be pointing people towards in the South East ?

Tim,
A chap called Peter X Trident has set up on his own and has his own workshop, I think in Addlestone. He is top notch with MG's and will pick your car up and return it.
07886 909695
Mention my name, (he will still talk to you!)
Colin.

Thomas Day in Fleet is now an X Part Service Centre and Swain and Jones Farnham have retained their MG Technicians (used to be called mechanics) ;D

Thanks for the plug, Tim!
Things are moving ahead. A health & safety bod is inspecting the premises today at 7.30pm - hopefully there won't be too much to do to satisfy them!

Early this year i meet a guy in a breakers who worked for Newtown Motor Engineers in Gosport. He had on his card "Mini and MGF Specialists". Found out they have been dealing with MGFs for about five years and sounded like he knew his stuff. I have not used them myself yet but will be trying them out in the future. The contact Details are, Unit 1 Elmhurst Road, Gosport Hampshire. PO12 1PG Tel:023 92 505600 Mob:07771 593576. Ill get some more cards and bring them to the Run of the Mills.

Just a quick update on our new business.
We exchanged contracts for the lease yesterday and will pick the keys up on Monday. Now all we have to do is decorate and fit out the premises, organise the phone lines, organise the legal stuff (contracts of employment, etc.), get the computer equipment and software installed, register with the data protection registrar, get VAT registered, get the PDQ equipment installed... you get the idea?
Hopefully, we'll get this all organised so that we can start trading by the end of June/ start of July.

Looks like we will probably start fully trading on 3rd July (that's when the PDQ machine will be active). We'll probably have an opening event on a Saturday a week or two after that, but watch this space...

The open day for our business is planned for Saturday 15th July. We are trying to get the use of a paddock for parking of the cars and a buffet.
Our website should be going live in the next couple of days. I'll post the URL here once its up and running.
