Mileage will vary depending how you drive it. I'm normally about 350-370, some people manage 400+ (God knows how), have been under 300 in France MGF's / TF's do have a history of HGF's but in later cars most of the problems have been designed out, but it does still happen. Other bits of advice, don't thrash it too hard in the wet, it is rear wheel drive and can bite... Also always warm the car up (under 3000 rpm for the first 5-10 minutes) and cool it down. Enjoy the car !!!

Paul, You are already at the right place, the South East page, it won't be long before the Kent stalwarts are biting your arm, just stay where you are. We have a run as you can see this coming Sunday, you can meet some of them there, although it's in Essex, it matters none, especially considering the distance some of us travel. This is the link to one of many that will help you, it's run by Tim Morris, who is part of the F Register committee also : homepage.ntlworld.com/tim.morris4/SEF.htmI have fitted front fog lights, it's a bit of a job, but not impossible, the proper kit is quite expensive though. I assume you mean the grilles, by "silver" I have replaced all of mine twice, I am now using a s/steel woven mesh, it's beautiful, I can send you pictures and it's as easy as that, although it will be easier to show you as there are some hidden screws. I have also added three at the back, one across the silencer and two within the engine vents. Glad you have joined us, welcome to the club.

Ah yes, the Wedgewood SE, I now know what you mean, when you get back from your honeymoon, have a nice time by the way, we will point you in the right direction of ther people you can buy those parts from, they are quite accessible and not too expensive, the choice, of course, will be yours.
Beware though, when you start looking at and listening to other people's cars your wallet will be shivering.
I'm sure our little Wilmington terrier will give you her advice, where is she by the way ?

Somebody call? Yes I know I spend too much time on here Welcome Paul! Nice to see another Kentish person here, the Essex lads are in the majority on this board. So that makes 3 Kentish users here, Paul, David and myself. I'm glad to hear you're enjoying your TF. Advice wise I think you've pretty much covered it. I can tell you though that with regards to MG clubs, there are two the MG Car Club (MGCC) and the MG Owners Club (MGOC), not to be confused. Most of us F'ers are in the MGCC as there is a general feeling that the MGOC is geared (pun intended) to the older classic MG's. Also with the MGCC you automatically gain membership to the MGF Register, South East F'ers and you also have access to MG's on Track. OK so here are the essential links: MG Car Club: www.mgcars.org/mgccMG Owners Club: www.mgownersclub.co.ukSouth East F'ers: homepage.ntlworld.com/tim.morris4/SEF.htmMG's on Track: www.mgs-on-track.comHTH
