The President of the MG Car Club Luxembourg died on a tragic traffic accident !!! Dear community, a legend left us ! We were deeply saddened to hear the news about the sudden death of Antonnis Gerardus "Ton" Maathuis Ton (also MGF Trophy driver) died on a tragic traffic accident in Italy on September 27. Unfortunately Ton was crushed by an overturning tank truck in its MG. His wife suffered heavy injuries. Our thoughts are with Ton's family during this difficult time. We are all in a state of shock. www.roadstergate.lu

A tragic tragic accident It's always sad to hear of a death in a crash, but even more so when it's a fellow MG driver, heartfelt sympathies to their families.

I have written to Safety Fast on behalf of the Register.
Ton was one of the greats, he had a fleet of MG's, those that knew him could not help but like him, those that didn't can see him in FasTForward 6 page 20.

I heard about this big loss. He was a charmfull, warm person and the perfect host during your journeys in the Luxembourg region. His collection of MG's is legendary and he did know that MG's need to be driven. My deepest sympathy for the family and his close friends
>>> His wife suffered heavy injuries. <<< She's all right, concerning the situation.
