Great run and we enjoyed the half that we did. Managed to get Trish home for 2pm - leaving me with a relaxing time with my feet up on the sofa!! (Leg pretty sore by the time we got home).
Only one real problem (I don't include the getting lost at the start!!) was a couple in a Toyota 4x4 who insisted on forcing us on to the verge so that they would not dirty the tyres of their chelsea taxi. They did get a suitably choice few words. Hope nobody else came across them.
Thanks to all the organisers - a very high standard for the remaining 3 register runs during the year to match.

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone I met on the day. I had a great time and learnt quite a lot about the cars due to Andy's desire to take them to bits.
I was quite surprised by the amount of modifications people had done and I will be endeavouring to have a few by the time of the next meet.
Also, I have booked my Rusty old rolls in for a refit. :_) Although, I may have to win the lottery before I can pay the bill. ;D
See you all soon.

Great day out, and the missus now has a new shopping list of further spangly bits to acquire and for me to fit.....
A grand start at P&A Wood (always nice to see the older Rolls and Bentleys there) a lovely run over some really good rural roads, with a nice location for a stop at High Beach and a the White Hart at the end to wrap it all up. Top down all day - lovely. And all very well smoothrly organised. Our thanks to all involved,
MGA Mark

Just to add my thanks, to all involved in the organization of the run, really great day out, still dont think I would be tempted to swop my trusty Mg for a Roller, What can be better the roof down, sun shining and a run in the country, just sorry we had to cut and run so early at the pub. REALLY looking forward to the Tfest!!!

Thanks to the organisers, a great run and some fantastic weather! What a difference a day makes - just had a thunderstorm here, during which I had some new vinyls put on the ZS.

Glad you all enjoyed it, that's what it was all about really. Reading the thread above has enabled me to put some names to faces if you know what i mean - i should have guessed from the Red Devil avatar 'ibosscat' Likewise nice to meet mgamark and Virus. ------------- There's a reason i was co-opted into the Technical hot seat on the F-Reg Committee - apparently i have an incurable condition where i can't pass an F or TF without taking it apart! It's a strange compulsion i know, and i've yet to find a cure! Tim, i'm laying starting this rumour firmly at your door mate - harrumph! ---------------------- Any news on David and Michelle?

Any news on David and Michelle? Alive and well thanks Andy! The recovery guy was most swift, and although he was reluctant to get down & dirty with a hot engine bay (understandable really) he lifted us to Steve Tyler and then took pains to deposit us at a nearby hostelry, to drown our sorrows! At which point the Cliffords and Ralph and Emma arrived, in shining armour! We already know Adrian & Dawn are the most helpful people on Earth, and though it came as no surprise that they sorted out our mess so efficiently, we're still ever so grateful! Just as grateful to Ralph and Emma who literally went out of their way to pick us up and deliver us to our doorsteps. Service above and beyond, chaps, hearty thanks to you! So you see, even though the ol' MG may let us down, and thoughts may turn to shiny new M*z*as or T*y*tas whilst bouncing along in the passenger seat of a recovery truck, where else would we find such camaraderie and friendship as on an F Register run? We'll be back!
