The main group will depart from Dover by Norfolk Lines ferry on Saturday 28th July at 10.00 returning on Monday 30th at 20.01.
We will be met by Colin's group using the Eurotunnel train departing at 09.50 and returning at 19.50 on Monday.
This should allow us to meet up at a similar time at Veurne, just off the E40.
We will follow the same route to Ardooie where we will have lunch in the Bockor Café again.
At Mechelen, we will stay in the Hotel Vé, after dinner in the nearby Hotel Den Wolsack we will embark on an optional walking tour of Mechelen, known as the Carolus Tour where beer sampling is included. There is an option of staying in the Den Wolsack if required.
Sunday morning sees us departing for the event itself, the run commences and finishes in the forest at Averbode, there are two runs, a short and a long, you have the option of either.
Sunday evening sees us back at Mechelen for dinner in the Den Wolsack again with a free evening to do as you wish.
After breakfast the morning is free in Mechelen until we depart early afternoon for the journey back to Dunkerque and Calais.
You will need to book your own ferries and trains, please let me know when this is done with your reference number.
Costs are detailed in the earlier thread so I don't need to repeat them, what I will add here is the menu :
