Apologies, can't make it. Trish has forced my hand regarding the new gas fire - she booked the gas fitter for Monday morning - I therefore have to get it hung on the wall and the wall chased out for the pipe.

But " The AGM is scheduled to start at 1030 " -see earlier in this Thread. Where did the 1400 come from ??. Was the required 'Notice of AGM' in Safety Fast as per the other Registers ?? It was apparent that only the Inner Circle knew what was going on. Geoff F.

Was the required 'Notice of AGM' in Safety Fast as per the other Registers ?? Geoff F. was in last months I believe! would be good if the 2008 AGM was promoted more, not just as an AGM, but made into more of a social natter as well! No reason why this couldn't be as popular as our Xmas natter??

Both this and last years AGM were promoted as a social natter followed by an AGM - the official notice was in last months SF with a 1400 start for the AGM and the column stated a natter from noon followed by the AGM.
Unfortunately AGM's by their nature are a little dry and don't attract too many non committee/rep people - I think this is ude to the very nature of them and will be hard to overcome. However we were quite pleaed with the turnoput at this one and is an improvement on previous years when it was soleley the committee that turned up.
So thanks once more to all those that did attend and apologies for the misleading time posted earlier in this thread.
