Oh yeah, it sure does! Unfortunately, you can't post images to it, so you need to have a webpage from which to link the IMG from.

We'll have to think about times for meeting at the cafe de Paris - or perhaps dinner at the Columbus first as we all seemed to be booked in there and then onward to Paris ?
As this is a democratic trip - any thoughts ?

8's fine by me. Do I gather we are returning via Paris, I haven't planned my return route yet, so I'll go for that.

Speedferries cheap booking ran out on 15th August - I think they're up to £70 for September sailings now ! When I checked Eurotunnel were about £120.

Just checked up taking the car on Motorrail from Calais to Nice, its £365 for car +2 people in Sleeper on the night of the 16th. The question will it cost more than the petrol, road toll and speeding fine? Cheapest I could get Speedferries for is £70, which is going out very early on the Thursday morning and coming back in the afternoon on the Tuesday. Still not booked anything.... Whats everyone else doing ?

I've finally booked half of the trip - out on Speedferries 11th Sept stopping at Le mans. Then on to Ile De Re for two nights before heading into the midi pyrenes to stop at Figeac. Then over the Milau Bridge to Beaucaire near Avignon fot the last night before the Columbus on Friday. Havn't got the return sorted out yet but hopefully over the Col de Torini and towards Barcelonette for one night then on to Annecy for another before heading back across France for another two nights.
It would be quite good if several of us could perhaps head off from monaco together to tackle the Col De torini on sunday to provide some good photo opportunities before heading our seperate ways.
Anyone up for that ?

I'm up for that, going to need a mortgage for the fuel bill though Just checked prices again and Speedferries are still doing £50 returns. Looking to book, out Thursday 15th at 11:15, back on Tuesday afternoon (20th). Anyone want to join me ? Out via Millau back via the Alps.

Yes Tim, I have always said the Col de Torini is on my list then on through Switzerland and Germany.
Neil, I fancy that , I'll get on to Speed Ferries today and let you know, can you return via Switzerland, bit heavier on your fuel ( you could always use the F, will it take you over your insurance mileage, can you get an extension ?) I don't fancy filming the back end of a scooby for a week.
Anybody else fancy this route, several cars always make for nicer pictures.

My car has a very nice bottom.....
I have less than 1500 miles left on the F, too increase the mileage I have to change if from a "Classic Policy" to a "Normal one", but without the benefit of any no-claims (as this is used on the Scooby). I will phone for a quote to see how much it will cost.
When the Scoobies renewal is due, I will be shopping around....
