Emma, If you (and Claire) are making two days of it, the Saturday night looks like being an International party, you will meet some really great people. Could you make it driving up on Saturday then home on Sunday after the event ? Gaydon is a stone's throw from the M40 so for you very easy to get to. If you need anything else just ask on here.

Emma, yes there will be at least 2 runs to Gaydon, one starting Abingdon area, one starting in the Midlands somewhere. Booked this a while ago, not to be missed IMO. Interested in the Midlands run!!! ;D

I would like to go up on the Saturday, but it depends on whether I can get the Saturday AND the Sunday off. Are the runs going up on Sat? Adrian are you going on them? If so, might arrange to meet you in Essex or something nearer the time.

Emma, If you read some of the other info posts, I may well be tied up with meeting and greeting our friends from Europe who may be travelling together. I will stay with them and ensure they get to Gaydon or one of the road runs, little bit early to say for definite at the moment.
Let me know if you have both days off, you will be more than welcome, you know that.
If I am travelling too far for you, I am sure somebody will ensure you are OK, maybe David and Michelle, just keep posted.

Hi Adrian Emma et al
Adrian, it seems like Gaydon may turn into a weekender! Maybe our guests will be guided to the starting end of one of the Sunday runs? Emma & Claire, we'd welcome the company, you have my e-mail, let's keep in touch!
Keeping the weekend clear! ;-) M&D and KKE

David, You are quite right, although the event is a one day affair, the Saturday night is going to be a party somewhere. Just keep watching this space. ;D

I'll definately try to get the Saturday off work as well. Looks like it going to be a good weekend. David and Michelle, it might be a good idea to meet up together then drive up to the road run in the Midlands. As you know my motorway nagivation is notoriously dodgy! Adrian, are you actually going down to Dover to meet your friends? Might be able to catch you on the way back or something. Like you say, it's very early to be sorting this out, it'll be easier when we all get more details.

Good news Kasper, you mentioned that meeting when we met in Holland, is Marion with you ?
Emma, When I know where they are arriving from I will let you know, some may come to Harwich, some may come to Dover. Whatever happens I will meet them somewhere, they are familiar with English roads so it is not going to be difficult. You will find out don't worry, are you staying the Saturday night, wherever it may be, Tim is working on acoomodation and he will make it reasonably priced I'm sure?

Emma, Hang on for a bit, see what Tim comes up with. We paid, last week for Longbridge, only £38.50 for the Campanile at Redditch. Unfortunately, Campanile are not near Gaydon. Otherwise that may be OK. Make sure you take all your own stuff, I stayed at the Premier Travel Inn during last week at Winchester and they don't even supply shower gel sachets !

Could hire my back garden for tents, no more than 45 minutes from Gaydon....

That's it then, all over to Neil's house. 30 tents OK ? May be a bit chilly in October, got any spare rooms ? ;D

30 might be pushing it in the back garden, however if you include the front and side it should be do-able... No spare bedroom, its full of junk (including a bed) and a railway layout !!
