How did it go Nigel ?
If you let me know when your July meet is, I'll see if I can sort a run out over there for it.

Im happy to say that it survived in the face of last minute disaster! The night before I had 4 people pull out! But luckily MGF Register members Phil (and his wife Ann) and Peter Mason showed up to represent the North Welsh We even got a fleeting visit from Andy (Mgmaniac) and his F driving colleague John, although Andy's car could be used due a HGF THE NIGHT BEFORE! Many thanks to Tim for placing my details in FasTForward and Safety Fast (I forgot, so the phone calls came as a surprise!). In my opinion, the chosen venue has great potential to be a regular spot due to its welcoming atmosphere (and ample car park!) and the next meet should be even more successful now we have a small established base + contact list, plus I shall begin flyering (using my own email address, since the mgfregister one STILL isnt working - the reason I didnt flyer for this meet). In all, I think I achieved what I set out for. A friendly drink with other F-er's to discuss future runs and options. Below are the quick shots I grabbed at the beginning (Unfortunately I didnt grab Jon's F as he didnt arrive till later).

How does July 22nd sound, that clash with any of the North West runs / meets?

Not too bad for a first meet - being so far away you didn't get the neighbouring area invasions that the southern start ups got unfortunately. This is the more traditional route.
Good to see Peter popping along - you may have seen him as an F person in the last FasTforward !
I've e-mailed Rob a couple of times about your e-mail address - he was going to put it on under the old system. There is a delay on the new pop3 accounts over payment issues at present.

If that's the date, I'll be popping over if that's ok. I'm pretty sure some other NW 'F'ers will come. Any excuse for a run out!!! Would be good to meet you all!
