Just got back from Jersey. We'll discuss time/meeting place at the meeting Sunday, then post it here for those not attending.

With pick up points on route for Northamptonshire, and Nth Oxfordshire members at Weedon A45/A5 Crossroads hotel, A361 Charwelton PH, Banbury/ Chipping Norton ?. Times ? What do u think peeps ? Adrian

Problem with that idea... We may have a couple of cars coming from Milton Keynes. It's a bit out of the way for them!
We didn't actually get round to discussing it at the last meeting after all so we'll have to wait for a few days to see who wishes to join the convoy before making a final decision.
Please make sure you post here if you are planning to join us...

Just waiting to see who's confirmed as coming and interested in the convoy. Then we can sort a suitable meeting place and time based on home location. Hopefully, we can sort it for the weekend before. That gives last minute interest a week or so to sign up.

Right then, I think we're in a position to be able to set a meeting point and time for the convoy. As Lee suggested, we'll meet at Towcester, at the MacDonalds restaurant car park, at 9am. This should be convenient for those coming over from MK and down from Kettering and Weedon directions. It's also easy to find!
I've worked out a nice route that will cut out most of the dual carriageway and be more picturesque, and also should only take us just under an hour.
Hope that's ok with everyone. Let me know if not.
Rich.

Okay 9AM McDonalds Towcester. 3 cars coming from Weedon ! I looked for a map on their website, it shows the restaurant on the wrong side of the A43. I believe it is now by a Roundabout/ BP garage, Is that correct ? Adrian & Mark. Lindsay & Sonia. Lynn & Emily & Amber the dog.

Oh dear Anything serious? Need any help? I'll put you on the list provisionally. Hope you can make it. We've got nearly 40 MGF/TFs booked for the register stand at the event now. Hoping it's going to be the first outing for the new SMS banner! Rich.

Mucky Dee's at Towcester - is that the one in the A43 by the petrol station on the large roundabout just south of the A5/A43 roundabout?
If so I may well bring Blue Thunder down since I'm now free on Sunday.

It'll be great to see you and Blue Thunder again Debs. I'll add you to the list. We're doing a scenic route so I'm afraid you won't be able to exercise your NOS button... Rich.
