Add me to MK 9:00 meet list please Rich.
I was planning on a straight run down the M40 - 'quieter and prettier' from Coventry but I am sure my F will be real lonely if it is the sole car on that road, so I will join you all on the run down the M1 (along with the other Midlands guys).

Excellent Keith, you'll be most welcome as always! ;D
Who else is coming from your area and which stops are they joining us at? We have Chris listed for the Toddington stop already.
By the way, the possible 'new member' Lee is from your area I think. He actually lives a mile from Longbridge. He works for Direct Line and that's how I met him. I was updating our breakdown cover!

See you there Keith. You would have passed us on M40. I will have a passenger. Geoff F.

TimF is joining at Toddington I believe with Chris. Geoff F is going straight there. Not sure if anyone else is coming or not. Not heard anything from Steve yet.
Yep, Longbridge would come under the Heart of England area as it stands. Will let him know of our pub meet if he turns up.

You too Chris, it was a great day and I think we all enjoyed ourselves.
Not sure when our next Sunday meeting will be as next month Kate & I are in Jersey and June we are doing the 'Grand Day Out' event and convoy. Might have to reschedule our pub meets!!!!

I would like to say a big thank you to all those who joined us on the run today. It was a bit harrowing droving through the roadworks on the M1 with 11 of you following me but I made it and I think, from what everyone was saying, a great day was had by all.
The first run organised by the South Mids Sportsters can, I feel, be hailed a success ;D ;D ;D ;D

Nice one guys, glad you all had a great day. I would have liked to go but funds and time wouldn't allow I'm afraid. I will get to Brooklands one day though.
Hope to see you all soon, maybe we can have a grand Midlands get together sometime in the summer.

It was a good day out, even if traffic on m1 made convoy tricky at times and the weather angel looked after us! It was touch and go if i was going to make it,due to helping my sister move house being as she inconveniently had a baby on the very same weekend! I'm glad to say it was good to have our first "south mids event" ;Dand enjoyed the day.
p.s. cheers for the tag on way back keith.

PhilB, Sounds like a plan to me... Macrimmon, Nah, she made it down OK. It's just that super steep bit where you have to come down on all fours and your bum. I met her half way! Don't think she'll be doing that again... Rich.

Excellent photos David. I'll use the one from Toddington if that's OK. Haven't got any others from there! I can lift it from here as I'll be resizing it anyway. Also, can you let me have your son's details so I can add him to the members cars page? I take it he wants to join... Rich.

My word, it looks as if the walk up that hill was an easy stroll. It hurt.
A lot
still does.
