In the beginning we used slate and chalk to draw pictures - life was simple. Then came film - easy. Take pics, get processed, put pics in photo album, store negs - job done. Now we have (easy?) digital. Procedure: load memory card, charge battery, set Custom Settings in relevant menu, set image quality and size, ISO, white balance, exposure compensation, program or auto. Take pic, check histogram, repeat pic as necessary. Upload to PC, adjust brightness, contrast, saturation, sharpening. Make copy, resample, upload to Photoshop (with no broadband and pigeons on a pension it takes ages), publish to Forum. Now - where is the Auto button and has anyone got some chalk and slate in their attic? I've not done this before, but with luck, some pictures from Castle Combe are here: s64.photobucket.com/albums/h185/LeginTF/Castle%20Combe%209%20June%202007/

I dare not admit to the time I spent studying Photbucket's tutorials and trying to make the thing work. I had created a slide show, but the "Save Slide Show" button failed to appear.
