I assumed I had volunteered to marshal at the event through the MGCC but only found out today that Castle Combe are doing all the organisation and hence the MGCC have no input at all (they just have most of the MGCC Championships races on) so they don't need the marshals on the MGCC books. This at last gives me a chance just to watch some racing and have a 'fun' day out instead of 'working' and having my back to the racing ;-)

For those who don't know, if you come down through Castle Combe village, rather than bearing around to the left to go to the competitors entrance, turn tight as the road curves around and the camp entrance is just down on the left hand side about 100 yards.

Great day out me thinks! Thankyou all for filling up our reserved parking area - Cars from everywhere! Wales x2 Somerset x2 Surrey Wiltshire Coventry Devon Avon Some highlites include the 5.7 V8 Omega, that mega quick car that averaged 90mph and was lapping cars in its 3rd lap! How did the Vitesse hearse miss that 3 wheeled Spitfire, and seeing the old MG TA and TC racing!! no sun no 22 deg c great day
