Dammit! After £250 for the repair to the manifold last week, I can now kiss goodbye to another £600 or so for a head gasket. As a result, no pint for me this sunday Steve, You have my sympathy, just had my gasket done as well

Aww thanks Adrian ~ I feel that I've been letting the side down a little. Worst still letting the EAMGF crew down having only attended 1 out of the last 4 meets (sorry guys) Poor show all round really ~ joined Apr 06 and tho I do love hopping around on these boards, enjoying the crack between all you fun and friendly Frs out there, seems I cant get my lazy behind out and about to meet & greet you all (well, maybe not all ;D) So, note to self ~ new year's resolution ~ take *Mags* out to meet up with as many F/TF's as poss ~ heck might even go so far as to take her out of the County Don't worry Susan, I've been through the chaos of working a 50 hour week, gigging and studying for accountancy qualifications at the same time - not easy by any means. I totally understand! In fact I am picking up CIPFA in the new year (glutton for punishment!) so will probably be coming to you for some exam tips LOL! I don't gig anymore (MG has taken over - and besides I can't get my full rig in the boot of the F ;D) so I will be able to cope - just!. Anyway in the new year we should be getting out and about so we should work our way closer to you - so hopefully you can sneak out for a quick meet. As Adrian said we should have a good lineup for 2007, so there will be plenty to choose from when you get a spare moment. Jon

Hi Sean, Claire & Jon Lyn & me are glad we decided to come over to your neck of the woods. Had a good picturesque run up to the ship. Had a Brill meal yet again ;D And some how you 2 always plan the weather as well, or as Sean ALWAYS let's me know its just typical Norfolk weather! On the way home we watched the sun go down. Hope to catch up with you both again in 2007 John Cheers for turning up John, glad both you and Lyn could make it. Aye the weather is good in Norfolk. IMO one of the best bits of driving in the Fens is the Sunsets and Sunrise because you can see for miles, they can look very dramatic. When I used to work nights (in the summer) and drove home in the morning you could see the nightsky on one side of the road and daylight on the other - if that kinda makes sense Magic. If you get the chance PM me your email, and I will send the stuff over. Cheers Jon
