So, I have fitted an MKII console in My F : But I've got one little problem now. The switch for the front fog lamps is not compatible with the fog lamps I think. The fog lamps are always on, also, the normal lights can't put off anymore. Where is the difference between the MKI an MKII fog lamps ? Is it the cable ? I can't find it on the EPC.

Unlikely the cable Bruno, I would guess that the switch has been incorrecly wired up.

There is a difference to how the teltale (the light that comes on in the switch to say its connected) works between the F foglamp harness and the TF foglamp harness, but the TF or Mk2 Switch still works with the F loom. The F Loom has a tap off the main foglamp feed that lights the switch whereas the TF style loom uses a feed from the 12V thats active when the headlights are on. There are detailed diagrams of the electrical wiring on the tinterweb, I will see if I can dig one out. Incidentally my friend John brought a front fog switch off ebay and it was incorrectly wired up, somone had tried to fix it but had linked the metal trackes up wrong inside the switch. I'm off to look for the diagram! Iain EDIT - this might help - from MGF.de... www.mgfcar.de/fog_lights/index.htm
