Well summers almost hear and the sun is making more regular appearances so thought I'd get my Tonneau cover out to put in the car.
One slight problem, the standard MG Rover cover doesn't fit over the Glass screened hoods!
So, rather than let it collect dust, I thought I'd see if anyone else wants it?
It's the Standard MG Rover Black leather jobbie which fits the later F's and TF's as has the extra flap that sits under the bootlid and has 1 popper and 2 hook eye fastenings for the T-Bar.
The condition is excellent as to be honest I never really took the time to fit it very often before I changed hoods.
I'm ideally looking for £60 but any sensible offer considered. I haven't listed it on flea-bay but if no one wants it here after a week or so then I'll put it on there.
Cheers.

Note the cover WILL fit over the glass roofs, and I haven't seen any other covers made yet that are slightly bigger, you need to press down on the frame while you fit the cover
That said, I'd try someone elses before you buy one, if you have a glass screen hood.

Having seen the way you fitted yours old bean, I didn't fancy doing it! ;D Plus, with my windstop, it just wasn't going to play ball as you found out at the cobweb spin. There are Sportster covers available for the glass hoods, but these are hugely expensive so I'm just not going to bother. Plus I like being able to drop the hood and lift it up whilst driving along! (Not recommended when doing much above 20mph! The wind catches it quite alarmingly!)

Aye, I'd like to see one of those Sportster covers, and yes, your windstop was the major problem. And just because I had to sit on mine to get it to fit

Plus I like being able to drop the hood and lift it up whilst driving along! As demonstrated at Brooklands last week - looks a bit painfull though - good for stretching the back muscles, but ya could get into trouble very easily - much easier to stop at lights, get out, smile at the numpty you'm holding up behind, then put it up!!!!! ;D
added: alot cheaper than a huge chyropractor's bill (i had absolutely NO chance of spelling that correctly) ;D ;D ;D

ooh ooh ooh! ;D I've perfected the technique a bit more since then! I can do it one handed now! Got some really great (read as bewildered) looks yesterday driving to Bournemouth. Was on a very very busy A31 in loads of traffic and as soon as the sun came out, stuck the knees under the wheel to stay going straight and popped the roof down as we were all going along at about 20mph. Needless to say, the smug git smile was on my face for quite a while afterwards!

Or you get a freak gust of wind and end up having the same effect as the parachutes out the back of fighter jets have
