Andrew, are you 'doing' the Highlander this year? I'll be there with my wife, arriving on the Friday. Can't wait to meetup with Clelland again and the lovely Anne; also get on those picturesque roads.

Oh yes we will be there, would not miss it. My hat is looking forward to another outing on top of Anne's head. ;D Must remember to bring two this year.

Now I am worried, what do you mean "that" Andrew. Who did you think I was?

I've seen Anne in the hat and heard of where it came from - just didn't associate 'Andrew' with the hat.

It's just occurred to me that some of the newer members might not know what the Highlander is. You will find reports on the last few year's events HEREOfficial Team Photograph from last year -

Just about to leave London - stopping for a couple of nights in the Lake District on our way up.
See you all on Friday/Saturday

See you there Ted & Karin! We're setting off tomorrow after lunch, travelling up the A1, stopping near Sunderland (halfway sez AA routerfinder). Then down the West Coast on the way back, via the Lake District overnight on Monday - so give us a wave, anyone, if we're near you

Can hardly wait. We're meeting Stu Dickens tomorow near Knebworth at/about 1100. Leisurely run to Berwick upon Tweed for dinner and sleep. Friday gentle over Forth Bridge, normal roads, possibly side track to Rannoch Station - depends on weather and time.
