Only if you do credit as I won't have the cash until Brooklands. I can give you a 25% deposit if you like

Cheers Adrian, All I need now is a large hammer to remove old discs, Chris not to be hung over (or someone else willing to volunteer ) some flat hard ground to stand the car on and some nice weather. I don't have a hope in hell lol I'll book the car in the workshop here

Forecast specific to this area indicates dry 'til lunch time followed by showers, getting heavier by evening.
So - nice drive to Hursley in morning. Lunch in bar at IBM, watching James out on the lawns with his picnic. Wet drive home. Seems the right way round to me ;D

Wet Drive Home - okay if you live around the corner.
M3 - M25 - M11 on a wet Sunday afternoon/evening, not my idea of an effective use of petrol!!
I'm afraid I've bailed out (deliberate pun intended) out on this run.
Don't forget your car shampoo folks - ideal time for a free wash.

See you in the morning folks.
Shame Dave has sunk without trace - scuppered the weekend!

There's heavy rain here, and it looks as if it is in for the day, but to those who are going to the Spin - I hope you all have a good time.

As much as i was looking forward to it, there is no way im standing in a soggy field in this rain! And the clubhouse is a tad too small to accommodate everyone comfortably.

Well, I'll never believe Metcheck, or James' seaweed, again.
X-country trio survived the aquatic conditions arriving safely at IBM to meet the SEFers, Bob, James and Chris. Due to the conditions the attendance from all makes and models was well down with Fs and Bs the best represented. Plenty of room in the clubhouse!
I trust everybody got home safely in the appalling conditions.

Morning guys... *Andie looks sheepish...* I'm glad that at least some of you braved the showers and turned out. I would have been there...really...but... I could tell fibs and say my car wasn't up to it...but I can't lie, I'm crap at lying (as David will confirm!). I was invited to a housewarming party on Saturday evening...as it was for new neighbours, I HAD to attend ...and...cough splutter...(Andie mutters under her breath)....I had my first large amount of alcohol for almost a year....and then I had some more....and I didn't get to bed til 4.30am and....oh dear....I didn't even wake up until noon-ish....and then realised that although I'd set my mobile the day before (so I didn't forget!) to wake me at 8am on Sunday morning , I'd left said mobile at the party host's house...... BAD ANDIE. Alistair, maybe we could do a drier X-country run when the weather is better? (look at me trying to salvage something from my bad behaviour.......!)

Don't worry Andie; I somehow knew all of that from my brief recce and sacrificed my pleasure to to spare your blushes. I saw all the moustache cars, while enjoying a dilatory lap of the car park, before attending more important things elsewhere. But I should make the BARS on thursday!
