As Trish and I are staying in Petersfield for the weekend we will probably be there at 8:30 for breakfast. If I can, I'll keep a look out for you all and try and get the F/TF's together. Then if we want to convoy it will be easier.

To be there for breakfast means getting up a sparrowf*rt! Carol & I will get there at a more civilised time, but will be looking out for you. A leisurely convoy would be good - we are planning on enjoying the views rather than passing in a blur! Dave, are you going to Beaulieu on Saturday or has Trish made other plans?

Breakfast - I knew there was something I had to order!!
Alistair - still not sure about Beaulieu - Trish's friends are checking with other halves. Women - either they want to meet up or they don't. Dither, dither, dither.
I question how early you need to get up for breakfast in Petersfield - Chandlers Ford is a spit from Petersfield - either round the M27/A3 or the nicer run across country using the A272! Come on lazy!!
I have PM'ed our mobile numbers to you - give me a ring tomorrow and hopefully I will be able to let you know about the auto jumble.

Yes, a good day for sure, over 300 MG's present and a 91 mile road run.
Visited Ditchling Beacon, again, third time this year, saw the Jill Windmill from high above, saw more B roads and ditches than I care to think about, but all in all, not bad.
Thanks to Ian & Liz for leading the run too.

What a great day out across the Downs and chance to meet friends and make new ones. Sunshine, country backroads, superb views and good company - perfect.
First part of trip home was fun - playing in 'convoy' with a bunch of Bs and a midget. Ended by a 2 hour diversion due to closure of road round Arundel! Blew off a DB9 - his lane of near stationary traffic was slower than ours!!
Arrived home at 21:00, tired and hungry, but having had a brilliant day out.
Paul - don't worry about the cheesy chips - save the postage and bank charges and buy me a pint on a future occasion.
Churchillian Meet next Sunday, then everything seems to go a bit quiet, - but not for long methinks.
Alistair
Note to self - get the dirt off the car before next Sunday!

Just a couple of pics from last Sunday. Many of the roads were as tight as this : But when we got to the end, over 300 MG's to look at, couldn't get them all in one picture of course :
