Dear all, Just an update with interest for you all.
I had a long conversation with Erik and Fran at Silverstone regarding Kempenrit, the details are as follows :
1. The event itself, as you know, costs €10 (£6.80p) per car, so to save us queueing on Sunday morning for registration they have accepted a block booking from me, therefore I will be sending the details of all of our cars in advance.
2. Because of the extraordinary amount of cars attending this year the end venue has been changed to a larger site and a catering company are providing the meal. This is optional but recommended as I am sure the quality will be without question and you will only have this opportunity between breakfast and the ferry (if you are going home the same day). The cost for this is €20 (£13.60p) per person. If anybody requires a vegetarian option please tell me.
3. I have assured Erik I will pay him on Saturday night in Euros for both entry and meals, so, therefore I need to hear from you all if you require a meal (or none or two).
4. I will be paying in Euros so I think the easiest way to do this would be to collect payment on the ferry (no later). If we meet before I can take your payment (Euros only).
5. Whatever you decide I need to hear from you, either by E Mail or a PM as soon as possible.
6. This will apply to the cars attending the Treffen after, if you wish to take up this offer.
As always, any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
Kris, have you made a booking yet ?
On behalf of the group, thanks to Erik and the Kempenrit team for this.

Couple of questions, Adrian...
Point 6. Is that to be filled in later or...? As it's confused me, does this entire thing only apply to the people going on the Treffen after or...?
Posibly a silly question, but do you know if the hotel will be able to take credit cards for payment for the accomadation or will an extra order of Euros be required?

James, this offer applies to everyone attending.
As Ted organises the Treffen himself it is an opportunity he may want to take up for his group, it does save queueing up on Sunday morning in Averbode. If he wants me to arrange this for him I am more than happy to do so. I'm sure he will let me know next time he visits the forum.

Adrian,
may Kiter and me join in the Kempenrit pre-payment ? If so, how do we manage that (payment on Saturday as you wrote) ?

Adrian
I am sure that all the Treffen guys will be happy for you to pre-register them for the rally BUT they will have to decide about the meal for themselves BUT (another one) I feel certain that they will want to join in. I will e-mail them to make sure.
Many thanks
Ted

Thanks Ted, you know it is a good offer, the queue last year was exasperatingly long. I will leave you to speak to your fine group and let me know their responses.
Herbie, that will be fine, I will put you and Kiter down for the meal also ?, please let me know.
Thanks Ian thatwill be fine, unless we meet before please pay me when we meet outside Dunkerque or in Mechelen, this can be arranged closer to the time when I start planning meeting points etc.
Andie, I got your pm OK
Colin, I will make sure it is not too late in the day, that is a good point.
Erik, can you make a note of this: What time will the food be served from/to ?

Erik, can you make a note of this: What time will the food be served from/to ? As usual we plan a little ceremony and some price giving at 05:00PM, afterwards dinner is served. And as I told you on Sunday, serving would go more smoothly as these people are used to serve many people at the same time. They normally do these family related parties (weddings, ...) and business lunches. Could you pass me on the time most of you would like to leave for their ferry/train. We could take these things into account and prevent pedal-to-the-metal rushes to get in time for train/boat.

Erik, we need to be in Dunkerque for 21.00 so I would like to leave by 18.30 to save the rush (like last year).
Dinner from 17.00 should be OK providing they are as quick as you say.
I have started putting together the excel sheet for you, so as soon as everybody responds I will send it to you.
