Looks like this is going to pass the 12 car limit - no worries, I'll try and get an exemption cert then the numbers won't matter - so just keep adding your names ;D a666one yep your welcome too

Now that makes it 13 - we could always have a couple of sets of 12 following eachother with a 50 yard gap between the sets - how would that stand in a court of law!!
That would keep it to 12s!!!!!

Unfortunately doesn't work like that !
Mark and I are trying to get the correct paperwork etc and do it right. As I said at the start of the thread it could turn out to be a regular annual event. So having done it once (assuming it goes OK) it will be easier next time whether for this event or another.
As for extending it over the weekend, please be patient while we try and sort phase 1 i.e the run itself then we will look at phase 2 i.e overnight and the lakes.

If you need a route through the lakes I could give you a good idea of driving times for several circuits - I practically live up there and vary my journey to ease boredom and suit the weather!!!

nowI am not saying I don't want to drive the route but is it pos to go on a tram? There are several different means of transport available including the tram - (even an illuminated tram!), horse drawn cart thingy, pushbike, rollerblades, but is the point of a "car club" run out, not that you use the car?? Next you'll be asking if you can have your fish n chips without salt n vinegar!!!!!! Heathen!!

it has to be possible to go on a tram.......somebody has to use them after all, but somehow as it is a night out in the MG something tells me tat isnt the way we will want to do it.
I also have a feeling in my bones that some of us MAY try to out-do the official illuminations!!!
