Tim, hopefully we'll be there, as Rhona has to defend her title!

Is it too late to register for the SE Summer Gathering? I tend to leave everything to the last minute. Should change that really.

Hi Tristan, From my experience the MGCC SouthEast centre will do their best to accommodate advance entries to the last possible moment (I'm a bit last-minute myself!); there are a couple of phone contact nos on their events webpage - see www.mgcars.org.uk/mgccse/events.htmlI'm almost certain you'll be welcome to just turn up on the day, but give Doug or Pauline a ring and they'll see you right. I'm sure TimM'll be along shortly to tell you his plan for a South-East eFfers run in to the event, failing that a pm to him should do the trick. The annual SE Centre's Summer Gatherings are sizeable meets featuring almost every type of MG old and new, with activities during the day - this one should be a great day out. However I'll be in Scotland sans KKE, while the biggest MG event in the South-East takes place a mere 10 minute drive from where I live - practically on my doorstep!

Thanks David. I'll give Doug or Pauline a bell later. Don't want to miss it because i couldn't sort myself out in time! Enjoy your time in Scotland.

Just wanted to ask a quick question. I've not registered my car with MGFCC (YET) or any other club, do you have to be a member to go to any of the events especially this one cos i would love to go just a bit worried about filling the form out getting to the event and being turned away. cheers Joe

Joey, the application form usually asks for your membership number to take part, however I very much doubt that an MG will be turned away from the parking areas. Call Pauline via the details given by David, I'm sure she will answer your questions and I hope to see you there.

It's the public car park by the pond on Godstone Green.
