Anyone not coming from Dartford Crossing area can meet me direct at the BP (definitely) on A3 southbound at Wisley. Looks like I'll be on my jacksy looking for a line of Fs unless we get some more from this side ! (Mind you you'll probably beat me to it anyway as usual !)
so far .... TimM (& Mrs M maybe) Dave & Michelle Emma & Claire Adrian (& Dawn ?) Tony W Tricky & Mrs Tricky

Still just me you'll be picking up at Wisley - must be some others in the South East who can meet us there - Doens't look like Kris needs much help with his first meet - loads of Hampshire types heading towards - Hope there's enough room at the Seven Stars and no other car club suddenly descends !

That's going to be a very impressive sight in the car park on Sunday. Serious photo oppotunity. Sunday morning I'll be out there polishing away....

Just washed the KaK off KKE, by touch, in the dark. See what we look like in the morning!...

No change there then, seems like we haven't been away. "Looks like we got ourselves a convoy" I think CJMcColl once said. Might as well start 2006 as we left 2005. Great to think that my first event of the year was in Holland, great time too

I was toying with the idea of washing mine tonight (just got in from work) but last time I did that I couldn't see what I was doing and in the morning the car looked worse than before I washed it. Not going to try that again, I'll be up tomorrow morning polishing. Serious photo oppotunity. Just had to quote myself, sadly Friday the 13th struck me. Came home from work yesterday and decided to dust off the camera. Switched it on and oh dear, looks as though someone's dropped it and smashed the inside of the viewfinder screen.

That's a shame Emm, sorry to hear that.
I have a problem with my camera / link to the computer. I went to load a couple of pictures in today (of the K&N mod) and it says there is a power surge at the USB port. Tried a different one and reset twice, still the same, any ideas ?

Weird, the strange thing is, a USB port doesn't really transfer much power through it, it's main use is to transfer data, although some power does run through there. Have you tried a different USB port? Most comps have several. BTW how's the K&N doing with the 'mod'? Haven't fitted mine yet.

Yes I have used another but the same thing happens, I'll close it down tonight and check it tomorrow.
Yes the mod is done and photographed, doesn't seem to change the car or the sound, as expected.

On our way home Eastwards, I'm inclined to go cross-country, on a sort of A272/A264/A227-8 kind of theme. Any interest or suggestions? Since this goes slap through Tun. Wells I imagine this'll be the way Trickyireland goes. Mind if we tag along, Tricky?

Cheers chaps for a lovely day out. David, they were some serious cross country roads you took us on on the way back, nice one. ;D So who's got photos? I'm still mourning the demise of my camera, but hopefully my parents can get me one from Gatwick as soon as Thursday! (I love duty free!)

My photographic efforts are on the Southern thread, Em.
That homeward leg was quite a tour in itself, wasn't it?! Pity we didn't get the A227 at its best... still, glad everyone's safely home
