This late addition to the calendar takes place on Saturday 14th April and will be run in conjunction with the Austin Federation. The plan is to run in a long convoy to Cofton Park - opposite Q Gate at Longbridge - for a rally clebrating all Longbridge built vehicles. In addition to loads of cars there will be entertainment including Birmingham's Poet Laureate, Ex MG Rover workers and an Ex Austin Apprentice as well as resources for the future and opportunities to celebrate past history and an autojumble. This may well coincide with the announcement that TF production is about to begin at Longbridge and the parade may well feature a NAC built TF leading it (subject to confirmation). Gather at Hopwood Park Services on the M42 junction 2 from 9am. The parade will leave Hopwood at 11.30am and travel to Cofton Park off Lowhill Lane (the scene of the 2005 Longbridge Centenary which you may remember). It's not far to Longbridge and we'll be gathering from 11.40 onwards. These pictures are from the 2006 rally which actually took place at the east works - sadly due to the construction work we've had to move opposite this year. Never too young to wield an MG flag Some of the cars at East Works in 2006 - note a couple of TFs amongst them. Keep an eye on the Regional boards as I'm sure there will be some group runs in to Hopwood Services. No entry fee !! Any queries contact events@mgfregister.org It's a few weeks away yet but we always like to have some idea of how many to expect ....over to you .

South East Area will be travelling up the M40 to meet at Cherwell first thing in the morning.
Hopefully we'll meet up with he Essex contingent there and if any other areas or solo people want to meet up at Cherwell you are more than welcome to do so.
We'll probably be aiming to get there around 9am but we'll finalise the time closer to the date.

This is going to be a petrol-heavy month for me, seem to have a lot of events lined up so far. (Why do I keep saying 'yes' to them? )
