Awwww.........now I really want to come....! I had an email from Norfolklines today for a cheap ferry crossing too....please talk me out of even thinking about it..I am poor and have no money and it will end up being the same weekend as the summer proms thats being organised and I will miss out on something either way and.....and.....and.....Andie pauses to breathe in before she collapses! ..maybe I should do Kempers and forget Italy....but I WANT to do Italy SO MUCH!!!! HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!

I really can't afford Italy this year, but I can just about scrape enough for Kempers. You'll pay less going to Kempers than you will Italy, Andie, thus saving more money (There is some logic in there somewhere)

Is the Passo del Stelvio in Belgium this year? Have the Belgians built some ramps on their roads? Kempenrit was good in 2006 but MOUNTAINS and PASSES and SNOW ?

Hey Andie - you've been there, done that etc. Try something new - Italy!! All that Sun, Wine, Pasta and of course, especially for you, the MEN!!! Above all, driving those alpine roads. Time at the lakes can be well spent! SCRRs' heaven, but look out for Wylie Coyote - beep, beep

Is anyone going to have room for a passenger for Italy too? I'm begining to think I shouldn't have spent so much last year

Awwww, James........I know at least one person will be on their own but whether they'd want a passenger... Love your Hannibal, Alistair! Cute! As for the lakes, I can't swim so won't be doing anything much near water!!! Looks like Kempers really will have to be missed this year....and maybe next year it will be happening alongside Maanrock and the Hotel Ve will be free of rowers!!!!

Sorry James, no spare seat for Italy.
I will have a spare seat but will be stopping for a few days in Switzerland on the return journey.

James, I need to see the costings before I can confirm I will definetly be going to Italy, but I if do then i will almost certainly have a spare seat you could hire I cant afford to do both Kemps and Italy, but I made the opposite choice to most it would seem, and decided to sacrifice this years Kemps in favour of Italy.

Thanks Steve, I too need to see what my finances will be like/what the costs will be, closer to the time, but if you do have a seat going and I can afford it I'll be more than happy to share the motoring costs with you I must admit, had I been able to afford to drive to a European event I would have skipped Kempers and gone to Italy as well
